# Koshi Aria Wind Chime - 432Hz - Air Element Chime

## Koshi Aria Wind Chime • 432Hz • Air Element Chime

Light, clear and spacious, the Koshi Aria Chime is the Air-inspired melody from the classic Koshi 4 Elements collection.

Handcrafted and individually hand-tuned at the foot of the French Pyrenees, Aria contains eight steel rods arranged around the notes A • C • E • A • B • C • E • B, forming an A minor scale.

Each rod is tuned by hand with an adjusted 432Hz reference using Koshi-specific harmonic correction, allowing the lower and higher notes to respond naturally within the complete harmonic structure.

The result is a bright, open and delicate musical character, with individual notes unfolding into clear harmonics around the treated bamboo resonance chamber.

Aria can be played by hand during meditation, yoga and sound practice, combined with singing bowls and gongs, or suspended in a sheltered position where movement of the air allows the chime to play naturally.

Within the Koshi 4 Elements collection, Aria represents Air and may symbolically evoke breath, openness, clarity and movement.

**Aria is one of four complementary Koshi 4 Elements melodies:**

**Terra • Aqua • Aria • Ignis**

The separate Koshi Earth Symphony collection features Mountain, Forest, River and Ocean with 12 tuned steel rods and a 440Hz reference.

#### Aria • Air

Aria is the Air melody within the Koshi 4 Elements collection.

Its A minor scale gives it a clear, light and open musical character.

Compared with the deeper warmth of Terra or the softer flow of Aqua, Aria feels more spacious and delicate.

Its sound may evoke breath, openness, clarity and movement, while the changing order of notes gives each movement of the chime its own character.

The Air association is symbolic and musical rather than a claim of fixed energetic effects.

#### Notes & Harmonic Structure

Aria is built around the notes:

A • C • E • A • B • C • E • B

These notes form an A minor scale.

Each of the eight rods is individually tuned by hand.

Rather than tuning each rod in isolation, Koshi applies its own harmonic correction so that the lower and higher notes sit naturally within the complete ensemble.

This creates a coherent harmonic structure where individual tones interact with one another instead of sounding separate or disconnected.

The result is the light, airy and layered sound that gives Aria its distinctive identity.

#### Adjusted 432Hz Tuning

Koshi Aria uses an adjusted 432Hz reference together with Koshi-specific harmonic correction.

This does not mean that every rod produces a single 432Hz tone.

Instead, the 432Hz reference forms part of the wider tuning process used to balance the complete set of notes and harmonics.

Each rod is tuned until it finds its correct place within the instrument's overall harmonic structure.

This relationship between fundamental notes and higher harmonics is a large part of what gives Aria its clarity and spaciousness.
