# Koshi Earth Symphony Wind Chimes Set of 4 - Mountain, Forest, River & Ocean - 440Hz ## Koshi Earth Symphony Wind Chimes Set of 4 • Mountain, Forest, River & Ocean • 440Hz Explore the complete Koshi Earth Symphony collection with this set of four handcrafted wind chimes: Mountain, Forest, River and Ocean. Inspired by the great landscapes and presences of Nature, each Earth Symphony chime has its own distinct melody, harmonic structure and fine-wood resonance chamber, while all four are designed to remain musically coherent when played together. Each chime contains twelve individually hand-tuned steel rods and is tuned with reference to 440Hz. Four rods within each chime are doubled at identical frequencies, acting as sympathetic resonators. This broader twelve-rod architecture creates greater depth, sustain and harmonic richness than the classic 8-rod Koshi 4 Elements format. Together, Mountain, Forest, River and Ocean create a wide and immersive soundscape ranging from Mountain's grounded stillness through Forest's mystery and River's movement to Ocean's expansive, welcoming resonance. This complete Earth Symphony set is especially suited to meditation, yoga, sound baths, breathwork, ceremony, music practice and anyone wanting the full new-generation Koshi collection. #### Product Details - **Brand:** Koshi - **Collection:** Koshi Earth Symphony - **Set Includes:** Mountain, Forest, River and Ocean - **Quantity:** 4 Koshi chimes - **Inspiration:** Great landscapes and presences of Nature - **Product Type:** Tuned wind chime set / wind bell set / meditation chime set - **Rods Per Chime:** 12 individually hand-tuned steel rods - **Total Rods Across Set:** 48 - **Sympathetic Resonators:** 4 doubled rods per chime - **Tuning:** With reference to 440Hz - **Rod Construction:** Steel rods soldered with silver onto a metal base - **Clapper:** Brass and coconut shell - **Plastic:** Plastic-free construction as supplied - **Approx. There is no required order or fixed sequence. #### 48 Hand-Tuned Steel Rods Across the Set Each Earth Symphony chime contains twelve steel rods. Across the complete set, that gives you 48 individually hand-tuned rods. Every rod is tuned before being soldered with silver onto a metal base. The twelve-rod construction gives Earth Symphony a wider harmonic architecture than the classic 8-rod Koshi 4 Elements range. This additional complexity creates more interaction between fundamental notes, doubled frequencies and overtones. #### Sympathetic Resonators Each Earth Symphony chime contains four doubled rods tuned to identical frequencies. These repeated pitches are described by Koshi as sympathetic resonators. They reinforce selected parts of the harmonic structure and help create the deeper, longer and more immersive resonance that distinguishes Earth Symphony. Across the full set, each chime uses this same twelve-rod architecture while expressing a different melody. #### 440Hz Tuning Reference All four Earth Symphony chimes are tuned with reference to 440Hz. This does not mean that every rod produces a 440Hz tone. Each rod has its own pitch within the relevant melody. The 440Hz figure is the tuning reference used to position the complete set of notes accurately within each harmonic structure. ## Details - **Price:** 176.5 GBP - **Vendor:** Koshi Wind Chimes - **Tags:** Best Seller, Koshi & Heola Wind Bells, World Instruments | Sound Therapy, £12+ ## Variants | Variant | Price | Available | |---------|-------|-----------| | Default Title | 176.50 GBP | In stock | ## Images - Four wooden cylinder wind chimes with teardrop-shaped metal striker weights hanging from black cords against a warm beige background. - A wooden wind chime with a cylindrical body and a teardrop-shaped hanging striker, shown against a solid teal background.
