# Koshi Ignis Wind Chime - 432Hz - Fire Element Chime

## Koshi Ignis Wind Chime • 432Hz • Fire Element Chime

Bright, warm and dynamic, the Koshi Ignis Chime is the Fire-inspired melody from the classic Koshi 4 Elements collection.

Handcrafted and individually hand-tuned at the foot of the French Pyrenees, Ignis contains eight steel rods arranged around the notes G • B • D • G • B • D • G • A, forming a pentatonic G major scale.

Each rod is tuned by hand with an adjusted 432Hz reference using Koshi-specific harmonic correction, allowing the lower and higher notes to respond naturally within the complete harmonic structure.

The result is a lively, radiant and expressive musical character, with clear notes opening into warm harmonics around the treated bamboo resonance chamber.

Ignis can be played by hand during meditation, yoga and sound practice, combined with singing bowls and gongs, or suspended in a sheltered position where movement of the air allows the chime to play naturally.

Within the Koshi 4 Elements collection, Ignis represents Fire and may symbolically evoke vitality, creativity, movement and transformation.

**Ignis is one of four complementary Koshi 4 Elements melodies:**

**Terra • Aqua • Aria • Ignis**

The separate Koshi Earth Symphony collection features Mountain, Forest, River and Ocean with 12 tuned steel rods and a 440Hz reference.

#### Ignis • Fire

Ignis is the Fire melody within the Koshi 4 Elements collection.

Its pentatonic G major scale gives it a bright, animated and uplifting musical character.

Compared with the deeper warmth of Terra, the softer flow of Aqua or the lighter spaciousness of Aria, Ignis has the strongest sense of movement and radiance.

Its sound may evoke vitality, creativity and transformation, while the changing order of notes keeps each movement of the chime fresh and alive.

The Fire association is symbolic and musical rather than a claim of fixed energetic effects.

#### Notes & Harmonic Structure

Ignis is built around the notes:

G • B • D • G • B • D • G • A

These notes form a pentatonic G major scale.

Each of the eight rods is individually tuned by hand.

Rather than tuning each rod in isolation, Koshi applies its own harmonic correction so that the lower and higher notes sit naturally within the complete ensemble.

This creates a coherent harmonic structure where individual tones interact with one another instead of sounding separate or disconnected.

The result is the bright, warm and layered sound that gives Ignis its distinctive identity.

#### Adjusted 432Hz Tuning

Koshi Ignis uses an adjusted 432Hz reference together with Koshi-specific harmonic correction.

This does not mean that every rod produces a single 432Hz tone.

Instead, the 432Hz reference forms part of the wider tuning process used to balance the complete set of notes and harmonics.

Each rod is tuned until it finds its correct place within the instrument's overall harmonic structure.

This relationship between fundamental notes and higher harmonics is a large part of what gives Ignis its lively and radiant character.
