**Californian White Sage** (Salvia apiana) **and Rue Ruda Smudge Wand 4"-**  is a scrub plant with spiky flowers, found along the sun-washed coastline of Southern California, it has a soft but powerful aroma. Traditionally used by many Native Americans for its powerful healing qualities, recognised for centuries for its cleansing and purifying properties, used in cleansing rituals, ceremony, space clearing and its connection with sacred practices.

**Ruda Rue** Known as Ruda or Rue. It is a strong sweet herb known for it's strong healing properties. Old wife's tale's tell off tieing rue herb or soap to your feet while you sleep to dispel negative energies allowing you to be free and reconnect to the earth you walk on. Rue is a powerful herb used for many things. It is known for its protective effect and for warding off evil.

**USE**\- in a heat resistant incense holder/burner/shell. Take the smudge bundle and place onto the chosen incense holder, light the end of the wand using a naked flame, carefully blow out the flame and allow it to smoulder. You may as part of a ritual say prayers or chants whilst using your hand or a feather to gently guide the smoke or just leave it to fill a space with its healing aromas.
