# Use note — Diffusing benefit

To refresh the scent, **feed** the wood with a _very small_ drop (1–2 drops) of pure Palo Santo essential oil on a bead and let it absorb away from skin. Always perform a skin patch-test first and stop if irritation occurs — avoid direct application to skin if you’re sensitive. The wood will emit the aroma after absorbing the oil. Keep away from children and do not ingest.
