This handcrafted 18″ shamanic frame drum features a distinctive star-tied backing, combining practical construction with symbolic design. Made from natural goatskin stretched over a maple or beech wood hoop, the drum produces a deep, resonant tone well suited to ceremony, meditation, and rhythmic practice.

The star rope pattern on the back of the drum provides structural tension across the drum head, helping to distribute pressure evenly for consistent sound quality. At the same time, the star design is often associated with cosmic alignment, spiritual guidance, and sacred geometry, reflecting the drum’s role in spiritual and ceremonial settings.
