Dhoop Incense is a specific type commonly used in South Asian cultures, particularly in India. It takes a solid form, resembling small logs or cylinders, and is crafted by blending various aromatic ingredients like herbs, resins, and natural binders. Dhoop is distinct from the more common stick or cone incense. It's typically burned on a special holder or a bed of sand or rice grains during religious ceremonies, spiritual practices, and for creating a pleasing fragrance. One of the most renowned scents in the world is Nag Champ sometimes known as 'Nag Champa'.

Does burning incense cones leave a residue?
Burning incense cones may leave behind an oily or resinous residue, which is a natural occurrence. This residue is the result of the oils present in the plant matter used in the incense. All plant materials, such as woods, leaves, flowers, and seeds, contain oils that contribute to the fragrance. It is recommended to use a heat-resistant holder or burner placed on a protective mat to prevent any surface damage and ensure safe burning practices.
CAUTION Care & Use: First, lite the tip of the backflow incense cone, and allow the top to get glowing hot (allow 4 - 8 seconds of burning before blowing out flame). Next, blow out the flame and allow the fragrance to release. Finally place the cone on top of the waterfall burner directly above the hole. When burning Dhoop Cones lite the tip of the cone and place it on a heat proof dish/incense holder.
Safety: It Is important to be aware of certain safety tips. Incense is hot when lit, so its important to always use caution. Keep your burner away from curtains or any flammable objects. Keep incense out of the reach of small children or pets. Let fresh air into your environment while you're burning incense.
CARE FOR YOUR INCENSE:
Incense keeps well and often improves with age if kept in a cool and dark place. Charcoal, on the other hand, does not, as it has a tendency to absorb moisture from the air. Once the packet has been opened, keep it in an airtight container to preserve its self-igniting properties.
