Californian White Sage Incense 4" Bulb Smudge Wand - The term bulb or torch refers to the style and shape of the incense. Unlike it's sisters this 4" is not cut equal both ends, which gives the unique shape.

Californian White Sage Smudge Wand 4"- (Salvia apiana) is a scrub plant with spiky flowers, found along the sun-washed coastline of Southern California, it has a soft but powerful aroma. Traditionally used by many Native Americans for its powerful healing qualities, recognised for centuries for its cleansing and purifying properties, used in cleansing rituals, ceremony, space clearing and its connection with sacred practices.

USE- in a heat resistant incense holder/burner/shell. Take the smudge bundle and place onto the chosen incense holder, light the end of the wand using a naked flame, carefully blow out the flame and allow it to smoulder. You may as part of a ritual say prayers or chants whilst using your hand or a feather to gently guide the smoke or just leave it to fill a space with its healing aromas.

Precautions: use in a heat resistant dish. Keep out of reach of children. Open doors and windows whilst cleansing, never leave unattended, when you have finished burning the sage make sure it is fully extinguished before walking away.

White Sage is also used for consecration and cleansing of ritual tools.
