Care & Use: When lit use on a heat proof dish. To lit: light the tip of the cone using a naked flame, carefully blow out the flame and allow it to smoulder.

NB: Ash will drop so its important to place on a heat resistant dish/area so not to occur damage. Areas must be well vented opening windows and doors.

Which Incense Cone Should I Choose? Dhoop vs. Waterfall Backflow 

The primary difference lies in size, burn duration, and how the smoke behaves. Dhoop incense cones are smaller, stand-alone cones that are typically burned in a standard incense holder or outdoors. They produce a steady stream of fragrant smoke that simply rises into the air, making them suitable for traditional incense use.  

Waterfall (backflow) incense cones, on the other hand, are larger and generally burn for a longer period. They’re specially designed with a tiny hole in their base that allows smoke to flow downward rather than upward when used with a backflow incense burner. This creates a stunning waterfall-like effect as the smoke cascades through the burner’s pathways, adding a visually captivating element to the aromatic experience.

How to use cone or dhoop cone waterfall incense?

Using cone incense is a simple process that involves lighting the cone and allowing the fragrant smoke to fill the air.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use cone incense:

Select a Suitable Holder: Use a designated incense cone holder.

These holders are often designed with a hole or indentation at the top to secure the cone in place.

Prepare a Safe Space: Ensure that the area around the incense holder is clear of any flammable materials or obstacles.

Place the holder on a stable and heat-resistant surface.

Light the Cone: Hold the pointed end of the incense cone and use a lighter or match to ignite the opposite end. Allow the flame to burn for a few seconds until the tip begins to glow red.

Extinguish the Flame: Gently blow out the flame on the cone, leaving it smoldering. The goal is to have a steady stream of smoke emanating from the cone.

Place in Holder: Carefully place the lit end of the incense cone into the hole or indentation on the incense holder. Make sure it is secure and won't tip over.

Enjoy the Fragrance: As the cone smolders, it releases fragrant smoke into the air. Allow the aroma to fill the room, creating a pleasant and calming atmosphere.

Monitor and Extinguish: Keep an eye on the burning incense, ensuring it doesn't touch any flammable surfaces. When the cone has burned completely, or if you wish to stop the fragrance, carefully extinguish it by tapping the lit end into a fireproof container or using a dedicated incense snuffer.

Tips: Ventilation: Ensure there is some airflow in the room to disperse the incense smoke.
