Copper Mandala Ayurvedic Drinking Cup 450ml – Pure Tamba Vessel

99.9% Pure Copper • Traditional Ayurveda • Gift Boxed

Etched with a refined mandala motif and crafted from 99.9% pure copper, this traditional Ayurvedic drinking cup — known as Tamba in India — follows a heritage of copper water vessels used for daily hydration for over 2,000 years.

In Ayurveda, storing water in copper is believed to help balance the three Doshas:

  • Vata (Air)
  • Pitta (Fire)
  • Kapha (Water)

These elemental energies are said to govern the body’s natural rhythms and internal balance.

Simple, elegant, and functional, this copper cup pairs beautifully with other Ayurvedic lifestyle products and makes a thoughtful wellness gift.

Copper vessels have long been used in Ayurvedic practice to store drinking water overnight. This process, sometimes called Tamra Jal, is believed to naturally energise and purify water.

Traditionally, water is stored for several hours (often overnight) and consumed in the morning as part of a balanced daily ritual.

Please note:

To maintain appearance and longevity:

Is this solid copper or plated?
It is made from 99.9% pure copper, not plated.

Why is the colour changing?
Copper naturally oxidises when exposed to air and moisture. This is normal and does not affect performance.

Can I put tea or lemon water in it?
No. Acidic liquids can react with copper. Use for plain cold water only.

Is this suitable as a gift?
Yes. It comes presented in a cardboard gift box with an informational leaflet.
