Remo Buffalo CST Drum • Vegan-Friendly Journey Drum
The Remo Buffalo CST Drum 14″ features Remo’s Comfort Sound Technology® (CST) drum head, designed to produce a warm, focused tone with a broad tonal range. This synthetic frame drum is widely used in meditation, ceremony, and sound-based healing practices.
Often referred to as a Journey Drum, Reiki Drum, or Shamanic Drum, the Remo CST Buffalo Drum is used for shamanic journeying, Reiki drumming, meditation, sweat lodge ceremonies, sound healing, and sound therapy practices.
The CST drum features a cream-coloured synthetic drum head with a black matte hoop, offering a balanced sound that sits between the deeper bass of the Bahia drum and the classic resonance of the original Remo Buffalo drum.
Because it uses a synthetic vegan-friendly drum head, the drum maintains consistent tone regardless of humidity or environment, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor ceremonial use.
A rope handle and soft beater are included.
The Remo Buffalo drum range includes three main styles: the Original Generation 1 drum (entry-level and often painted), the Bahia drum known for its deep earth bass tone and grounding ceremonial rhythm, and the CST version, offering the widest tonal range and controlled sound.
