NewYear Celebration - Despacho Prayer Bundles
Despacho is a Spanish word meaning “Offering”. An Andean practice of making offerings to the mountains (Apus) to the earth (Pachamama) mother earth and to all spirits of nature, giving back of what we receive in reciprocity. Making an offering with a Prayer Bundle Despacho allows an opportunity to focus on any areas of your life where it may need some extra support or to ask for blessings for a personal or a universal prayer/offering.
By setting a clear intention and holding no out come can seem a little indifferent but don’t be dis-illusioned at what could happen or what might change and manifest in the following weeks and months a head. The Power of intention is so amazingly powerful…….. Just be very clear what you are asking for and know that it can be much bigger than you think!!!!!
As we are celebrating the end of 2013 and stepping into 2014 it is a good time to give thanks for your triumph’s and tribulations expressing love and acknowledgement for those who are, and who are no longer with us in this prayer bundle. Honor what was, what is and what could be…..…..It is tricky not to hold an outcome or ask for a new car or job but to think bigger than what is and thank the job you have or thank the job that gave you so much or allow yourself to thank the new job what ever it is and what it provides…. Trusting the greater good. See we tend to ask for money but I know many people with money and they still appear to be unhappy.
Despacho’s can be perceived as complexed or in fact simple depending on what and how you wish to make one. Group ceremony or as part of a healing session for clients, friends and family have amazing benefits. They can be used for house clearings, relationships, bringing balance, clearing toxic energies and for celebrations, for example: births, weddings, christenings, rights of passage that has been so forgotten in the west. To celebrate ritual or ceremony to signify an event in a person's life, a transition from one stage to another, from adolescence to adulthood, husband to father etc....

In truth for me it is really about coming into the complete moment and taking some time to look at all the aspects, giving closure and then stepping into what and how you might like to be and have in your life, taking into account all those that aid you, support you, good and indifferent as they all have meaning and learning for us. Helping us not to be for example: a better father that can provide for his family, but a father that is proud to be available, warm and loving for his family so they can have a joyful fun supported in a way of being!
Despacho’s usually are made from natural items that degrade or combust easily in a non-toxic way as possible! After creating a prayer bundle you can either take it to fire if burning it for quick transformation, placing it or burring it on or in the earth, allowing the elements to do what they need to do. This allowing the transformations to manifest for the future.
