Chakapa - Shakapa: Wind of the Jungle
These sacred leaf fans, crafted from Sacha Chacapa leaves found deep within the Amazon jungle, are used by shamans in healing and ritual ceremonies, including life, death, renewal, plant medicine, and personal space clearings. Each fan is handmade, with dried leaves that reflect the essence of the jungle. The color and shape of the leaves vary, embodying the rich, fertile, and magical environment from which they come.
The sound of the leaves calms participants and aids in purifying and clearing energy. It is also widely appreciated by sound therapists for use in gong baths.
- These fans are made in the Amazon Jungle by local tribes. The craftsmanship reflects the rich traditions of the region, using Sacha Chacapa leaves collected from deep within the jungle.
Note: While these fans can be used for ceremonial purposes, they are best suited for decorative use, shamanic healings, and by sound therapists. Due to the natural plant materials and varying conditions of use, we cannot guarantee the product's durability. Ambient temperature and moisture will also affect the item's condition.

Use: During healing rituals, the Huairasacha – Chacapa is rubbed and rattled over or near a person's body while an icaro (medicine song) is sung. This practice cleanses, refreshes, and harmonizes the energy field. Shamans employ a variety of movements with the fan, producing diverse sounds and energies to enhance the ritual.
Note: These shamanic fans are crafted authentically from natural materials, holding the essence and medicine magic of the jungle—moist, detoxifying, and cleansing. Due to their delicate nature, the leaves may shed, even in transit.
These items have no fixed life expectancy and will break down with use, particularly in intensive ceremonies. If you prefer a strong, robust item or do not appreciate earthy, moist smells or the look of dried leaves, this fan may not be suitable for you.
While some may not find them visually appealing, others connect deeply with their jungle magic. We recommend these fans primarily for decorative use in a treatment room.

Tracking Information

Duties & Taxes

Returns
For orders that qualified for free delivery, returned items may be subject to the original shipping fee and any collection costs.
Refused or Cancelled International Orders
International orders that are refused, returned, and then cancelled may be subject to a 10% surcharge. Parcels can be re-shipped on request, although an additional charge may apply.
