Carved 7 Chakra Soapstone Incense Stick Holder 25cm • Curved Design for Meditation & Sacred Space

This colourful 7 Chakra incense holder is hand-carved from soapstone by artisans in India. Its gently curved shape helps catch falling ash while the seven chakra symbols add a bright, symbolic touch to meditation spaces, altars and quiet corners of the home.

Each symbol is decorated in its corresponding chakra colour, creating a striking rainbow design across the natural stone. Because every piece is handmade from hand-mined soapstone, the exact shade, markings and finish will vary slightly from one holder to another.

Practical as well as decorative, it makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who enjoys incense, yoga, meditation or chakra-inspired spiritual practice.

Curved Soapstone Design

The shallow curved form is designed to help collect ash as the incense burns.

Soapstone gives the holder a smooth, substantial feel while remaining naturally varied in tone and pattern. The carved surface may show subtle mineral markings, changes in depth or slight differences in polish.

The current stock has a somewhat darker appearance than some product photographs, although the overall chakra design remains colourful and distinctive.

Seven Chakra Symbolism

The seven symbols correspond to the most widely recognised modern chakra sequence:

  • Root
  • Sacral
  • Solar Plexus
  • Heart
  • Throat
  • Third Eye
  • Crown

In contemporary chakra practice, these are commonly associated with grounding, creativity, confidence, compassion, expression, insight and spiritual awareness.

Chakra systems originate in Indian spiritual traditions, although modern seven-colour interpretations are more recent and may vary between schools and practitioners.

Meditation, Yoga & Altar Use

This holder can help create a clear focal point before meditation, yoga or prayer.

Place it on a stable surface, add a compatible incense stick and allow the fragrance to settle into the room. The chakra design makes it especially suited to:

  • meditation spaces
  • yoga rooms
  • home altars
  • treatment rooms
  • spiritual displays
  • thoughtful gifting

It may also be used simply as a decorative incense holder without any specific spiritual intention.

How to Use

Place the holder on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface.

Insert the uncoated bamboo end of the incense stick into the hole. Check that it sits securely and does not lean beyond the ash-catching area.

Light the coated tip, allow it to flame for a few seconds, then blow it out gently so the tip continues to smoulder.

Keep the holder away from curtains, paper, fabrics and other flammable materials.

Incense Fit

The incense hole is approximately 2mm wide.

Most standard thin bamboo-core incense sticks should fit, but thickness varies between brands and handmade batches. Very thick sticks may not be suitable.

Do not force an incense stick into the hole, as this could damage the stone or cause the stick to sit insecurely.

Handmade Character

Each holder is individually carved and painted, so small differences are expected.

Variations may appear in:

  • soapstone colour
  • light and dark mineral tones
  • chakra colour depth
  • carved detail
  • curve and thickness
  • surface texture
  • exact measurements

These natural and handmade differences are not considered faults.
