Which Incense Cone Should I Choose? Dhoop vs. Waterfall Backflow

The primary difference lies in size, burn duration, and how the smoke behaves. Dhoop incense cones are smaller, stand-alone cones that are typically burned in a standard incense holder or outdoors. They produce a steady stream of fragrant smoke that simply rises into the air, making them suitable for traditional incense use.

Waterfall (backflow) incense cones, on the other hand, are larger and generally burn for a longer period. They’re specially designed with a tiny hole in their base that allows smoke to flow downward rather than upward when used with a backflow incense burner. This creates a stunning waterfall-like effect as the smoke cascades through the burner’s pathways, adding a visually captivating element to the aromatic experience.

Goloka have been creating quality incense for over 16 years and part of their proceeds are given to charitable causes that help to provide meals for underprivileged children and providing vocational training and scholarships.
