What is Palo Santo; Palo Santo incense sometimes known as Holy Wood incense; comes from the palo santo tree 'Busera graveolens'. It is a type of resinous wood dried naturally or some times kiln dried before being: Cut into incense sticks, Ground to make incense cones, Cold water distilled to extract Pure Essential oil and resin that in turn makes gum resin incense.
The tree is honoured, sustainably and ethically wild harvested. The re-planting and reforestation program extensive as this is extremely important for the the local villages and existence for future generations.
Palo Santo Benefits, Uses, Precautions, and How to Use?
Palo santo is a highly resinous wood incense. The appearance can change depending on the time, method and part of the tree the incense came from and how it was dried. Typically, the wood incense sticks are used in rituals and ceremony to cleanse away negative energies and spirits.
The incense sticks are lit. The desired effect will depend on the style and purpose by an individual. Typically the end is lit until it catches a-lite deeply. It will burn black initially. When the incense end is blown out, the incense turns to a white healing smoke.
Some shamans leave this lit and other re-lilting as required in a ceremony.

Plantations tend to not desire to pay for these style of licence to proof what is natural to them.
