Unlike over-dipped candles, which have a solid core coated in a decorative layer of wax, solid wax candles are uniform throughout, ensuring consistent quality, durability, and a long-lasting flame.

Candle Safety Information

For safe use, follow these guidelines to ensure proper handling and prevent accidents:  

General Safety Precautions

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

  • Extinguish using a candle snuffer instead of blowing it out.

  • Never use water to extinguish a candle.

  • Ensure candles are placed at least 10cm (4 inches) apart.

  • Burn candles away from flammable items and heat sources such as radiators or direct sunlight.

  • Trim the wick to 1cm before lighting or relighting.  


Proper Placement and Use

  • Always place on a heat-resistant, non-flammable surface such as a ceramic plate or tile.

  • Do not burn on televisions or other warm surfaces.

  • Use a suitable candle holder that securely fits the candle’s size.

  • Allow the wax to solidify before relighting to ensure an even burn.

  • Pillar candles over 6cm (2½ inches) should be burned for at least 4 hours at a time.

CLP (Classification, Labelling & Packaging) legislation ensures customers are informed of any potential hazards in candles and diffusers. Orders & Shipping
Orders placed before 3:00pm are processed and shipped the same day. We ship worldwide.

Tracking Information
Please monitor your parcel using the tracking details provided in your shipping confirmation email. Tracking is usually updated within 24 hours of dispatch and continues until delivery is confirmed.

Duties & Taxes
EU and international duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid locally where applicable. For non-UK customers, UK tax is automatically removed at checkout once the shipping destination is selected.

Customs Delays
Some international orders may be delayed due to customs checks, which are outside our control. Delays may be longer during busy periods.

Returns
For orders that qualified for free delivery, returned items may be subject to the original shipping fee and any collection costs.

Refused or Cancelled International Orders
International orders that are refused, returned, and then cancelled may be subject to a 10% surcharge. Parcels can be re-shipped on request, although an additional charge may apply.
