Peruvian Wiraqoya Shaman Incense grows in the high Andean mountains of Peru and has long been used in traditional ceremony. With a strong, earthy and uplifting aroma, it is associated with ritual cleansing, prayer, and sacred offering practices within Andean cosmology.
Traditionally used by Q’ero paqos (Andean medicine people), Wiraqoya may be burned as incense or offered within despacho ceremonies. It is also offered to the Apus — the sacred mountain spirits — as part of maintaining Ayni, the principle of sacred reciprocity and right relationship.
This 30g ceremonial blend can be burned alone or added to fire offerings, charcoal discs, or resin blends. It creates a fragrant, grounding smoke that supports prayer, gratitude, and intentional transformation.
Hand blended using traditional methods, this incense carries the spirit of celebration and devotion found within Andean ritual life.
