USE- in a heat resistant incense holder/burner/shell. Take the smudge bundle and place onto the chosen incense holder, lite the end of the wand using a naked flame, carefully blow out the flame and allow it to smoulder. You may as part of a ritual say prayers or chants whilst using your hand or a feather to gently guide the smoke or just leave it to fill a space with its healing aromas.

Precautions: use in a heat resistant dish. Keep out of reach of children. Open doors and windows whilst cleansing, never leave unattended, when you have finished burning the sage make sure it is fully extinguished before walking away.

Sage Spirit- Sage & Sweetgrass Smudge Wand

Sage is probably the most widely used incense by Native American Indians amongst many other cultures around the world for thousands of years. The rich sage soothes and calms with a long rich woody scent, useful for cleansing and clearing spaces for ritual and ceremony.

Sweetgrass is one of Native Americans most ceremonial plants used by many indigenous healers for its purifying qualities. Sweetgrass symbolises peace, healing and spirituality in many native cultures.

USES- Ceremony, Rituals, Healing, Protection, Opening Sacred Space, Feeding Sacred Altars, Yoga, Meditation.

Smudging is a traditional ritual from Native American people and many other cultures, the wand is lite and blown out and then as the smoke arises you can use a feather or hand to guide the smoke whilst you smudge a person, room or space. Place in a heat resistant dish or smudge bowl between uses.

NB- Always use the correct holder for the type of incense or sage you are burning. Care and caution should be taken at all times when extinguishing smouldering sticks. Burning items should be kept out of the reach of children. Never leave burning incense unattended.
