The Bodhrán 16″ Tuneable Head Goatskin Frame Drum is a traditional hand drum designed for players who want authentic Irish character with the added flexibility of adjustable tone. Made with a natural goatskin head and a solid mulberry wood frame, this bodhrán delivers a warm, earthy resonance that can be refined to suit different environments, playing styles and musical settings.
With its 16-inch diameter and 3.5-inch deep rim, this drum offers a balanced size for both beginners and experienced players. The tuneable head allows tension to be adjusted as needed, making it especially useful in changing temperatures or humidity, and helping the player move between deeper bass tones and brighter rhythmic response.
