A compact soft drum beater by Remo, designed to bring out the deeper, rounder voice of frame drums, shamanic drums and hand-held hoop drums.

Made with a maple wood handle and foam-filled soft fabric head, this 12" version offers a gentler strike and comfortable control, making it especially well suited to smaller drums and more focused rhythmic work.

Supplied with some 16" Remo Buffalo Drums, it is ideal for meditation, journeying, ceremonial drumming and everyday frame drum practice.

The foam-filled head reduces the sharper attack of a firmer beater and creates a warmer, more rounded tone.

The shorter 12" length also gives a little more control in the hand, making it particularly useful for:

How to Use

Hold the handle with a relaxed grip and allow the beater to rebound naturally from the drum skin.

Experiment with striking the centre and outer areas of the drum to bring out different tones.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, but avoid allowing the fabric head to become soaked.

Care & Storage

Keep dry when not in use.

Avoid prolonged damp, excessive heat and crushing the padded head during storage.
